Turmeric milk

I'm trying to use more turmeric in my everyday routine. This hot turmeric milk is one of the easiest ways of it. And why do I want to use more often this spice? I have read a lot benefits of consuming turmeric: it has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant just to mention a few. I think this spice can help everyday. Well, I don't really have any excuses.😊

You can see pepper among the ingredients and I recommend to add a pinch of freshly ground pepper into the milk, because it enhances the absorption of curcumin.

Turmeric milk
Turmeric milk
Ingredients
4 dl almond milk
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tbsp agavé syrup
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch of salt
pinch freshly ground pepper

In a small pot, heat the milk, with all the ingredients together for a few minutes on a low heat, try not to let the milk boil. Once hot,pour into your cup.
You can refrigerate the milk in a mason jar for 3-4 days. Shake well before drinking.
